The Mariners placed Snelling on the 15-day disabled list Thursday with an injured left shoulder. The 24-year-old outfielder was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma before Wednesday's game against Toronto and did not play. Team officials said Snelling was to be optioned back to the Rainiers following the game. Instead, he landed on the DL.
