Padilla will miss the entire 2006 season because of an elbow injury. The Mets' right-hander, a former Yankees prospect who has a history of arm injuries, is scheduled to undergo Tommy John surgery on Tuesday. In a brief stint with the Mets in 2005, Padilla was 3-1 with a save and a 1.49 ERA in 24 relief appearances.
