SAN ANTONIO (AP) -San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili is playing in the team's season finale against the Utah Jazz in a sign of the importance of the game.
Ginobili, the team's leading scorer, missed the Spurs' last three games with a strained left groin and wasn't expected to play Wednesday.
A win for San Antonio would clinch the third seed and home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. A loss against Utah had the potential to drop them as low as sixth.
Ginobili entered the game with 5:47 left in the first quarter.
