NEWS: The Indiana Pacers reintroduced Harrington on Thursday, two days after a sign-and-trade deal brought the former back to the team that originally drafted him in 1998. Harrington, 26, averaged 18.6 points and 6.9 rebounds last season for the Atlanta Hawks. "I'm happy to be back and finally get back to winning again," he said. "What wasi it -- 39 wins in two years and no fun?"
NOTES: The Pacers gave up a 2007 NBA draft first round pick and center John Edwards to reacquire Harrington. He's expected to start for the Pacers at power forward next season. Indiana had already dealt forward Austin Croshere and guard Anthony Johnson and let swingman Peja Stojakovic go in a sign-and-trade.
Al Harrington (Forward) 8/23/2006
NEWS: The Indiana Pacers completed a sign-and-trade deal with the Atlanta Hawks for Harrington late Tuesday. Indiana acquired the forward and center John Edwards in exchange for a 2007 NBA first round draft pick. Harrington spent his the first six years of his NBA career with the Pacers before spending the last two seasons with Atlanta. "We've had Al before," Pacers CEO Donnie Walsh said. "He comes back with more seasoning."
NOTES: Harrington has career averages of 12.4 points and 5.8 rebounds. He averaged a career-high 18.6 points and 6.9 rebounds last season with the Hawks. He'd averaged 13.3 points and 6.4 rebounds in his last season with the Pacers in 2004.
Al Harrington (Forward) 8/22/2006
NEWS: Harrington's new agent, Arn Tellem, said Monday he expects the Atlanta Hawks and former Indiana Pacers forward to return to Indiana. Pacers CEO Donnie Walsh wouldn't say that a deal was imminent, but said talks never ceased. "We're still in negotiations with Al Harrington and the Atlanta Hawks," Walsh said. Harrington averaged 18.6 points and 6.9 rebounds last season with Atlanta.
NOTES: Harrington played his first six NBA seasons with the Pacers before being traded to the Hawks in July 2004 for Stephen Jackson. The Pacers gave themselves a chance to get Harrington, considered among the top free agents on the market, when they gained a trade exception worth $7.5 million in the sign-and-trade deal that sent Peja Stojakovic to the New Orleans Hornets.
Maceo Baston (Power Forward) 7/28/2006
NEWS: The Indiana Pacers have signed Baston, who spent the last three seasons playing in Israel.

NOTES: Armstrong is a 12-year veteran with career averages of 10.1 points and 4.4 assists. He spent most of his career with Orlando before brief stints in New Orleans and Dallas.

The swingman averaged 9.3 points in three seasons with the Mavericks, but struggled to get playing time with Avery Johnson as coach.
NOTES: Daniels averaged 10.2 points in 29 starts this season, but averaged only nine minutes in the NBA Finals against Miami. He should get plenty of playing time with the Pacers, filling the void left when Peja Stojakovic departed for the Hornets.

NOTES: The Pacers will have O'Neal come off the bench for Friday's home game against the Pistons.
Jermaine O'Neal (Forward-Center) 3/16/2006
NEWS: O'Neal reportedly appears to be ahead of schedule in his recovery from a groin injury, though there is no timetable for his return to the Indiana Pacers.
