Ruben Patterson (Small Forward) 8/10/2006
NEWS: The Denver Nuggets traded Patterson to the Milwaukee Bucks Thursday in exchange for forward Joe Smith. Patterson had been acquired in a deadline trade from the Portland Trail Blazers on Feb. 23. He averaged 13.2 points and 3.5 rebounds in 26 games with Denver. Smith, the No. 1 pick of the 1995 NBA draft, has career averages of 12.4 points and 7.1 rebounds in 751 games with five different teams.
NOTES: Patterson averaged 12.1 points and 3.4 rebounds last season.
Jiri Welsch (Guard-Forward) 8/8/2006
NEWS: Welsch has decided to leave the Milwaukee Bucks after signing with a professional team in Spain. His agent said while the Bucks did not try to re-sign the former first round draft pick, several NBA teams expressed interest.
NOTES: Welsch averaged 4.3 points in 58 games last season. He is hoping to earn some significant playing time and eventually return to the NBA.
Steve Blake (Point Guard) 7/31/2006
NEWS: The Trail Blazers traded Blake along with Brian Skinner and Ha Seung-Jin to the Bucks for Jamaal Magloire on Monday.
NOTES: Blake, 26, played in 68 games for Portland last season and averaged 8.2 points per game, a career high. He ranked third in the NBA in assist-to-turnover ratio and 16th in three-point field goal percentage (.413). The 6-foot-3 guard has career averages of 6.4 points, 3.1 assists and 1.8 rebounds in four NBA seasons.
Brian Skinner (Forward-Center) 7/31/2006
NEWS: The Trail Blazers traded Skinner along with Steve Blake and Ha Seung-Jin to the Bucks for Jamaal Magloire on Monday. Skinner, 30, has averaged 5.2 points and 4.9 rebounds in 405 career games with six teams.
NOTES: Skinner, who has played in the NBA for eight years, averaged a career-best 10.5 points along with 7.3 rebounds and 1.09 blocks in helping the Bucks reach the playoffs in the 2003-04 season. He split time last season with Sacramento and Portland and averaged 2.9 points and 3.5 rebounds in 65 games.
Ha Seung-Jin (Center) 7/31/2006
NEWS: The Trail Blazers traded Seung-Jin along with Brian Skinner and Steve Blake to the Bucks for Jamaal Magloire on Monday.
NOTES: Ha Seung-Jin, a 7-3 center, appeared in 21 games for Portland last season _ his third in the NBA _ and registered 1.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.
Damir Markota (Forward) 7/25/2006
NEWS: The Milwaukee Bucks signed Markota to a multiyear contract Tuesday. The Bucks acquired the draft rights to the 6-foot-10 forward from the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for the better of Milwaukee's two second-round draft picks in 2007.
NOTES: Markota, selected 59th overall by the Spurs in June, averaged 8.3 points and 4.4 rebounds last season for Cibona Zagreb of the Adriatic League. The 20-year-old Croatian made his professional debut with Cibona during the 2001-02 season at the age of 16.
David Noel (Forward) 7/3/2006
NEWS: Noel, the Bucks second-round draft pick, signed a multiyear contract with the team on Monday. Noel averaged 12.9 points and 6.8 rebounds as a senior for North Carolina last season and was picked 39th overall in last week's NBA draft. "David is a terrific athlete who has the ability to make an impact on both ends of the floor," Bucks general manager Larry Harris said in a statement. "He is a tough, defensive-minded player with a solid offensive game."

Charlie Villanueva (Forward) 7/1/2006
NEWS: Villanueva was traded from Toronto to Milwaukee on Friday night in exchange for point guard T.J. Ford. The power forward averaged 13.0 points and 6.4 rebounds in his rookie season with the Raptors, finishing second to Chris Paul in the Rookie of the Year voting.
NOTES: Villanueva was made expendable by Toronto's selection of 7-foot Andrea Bargnani as the first overall pick in the draft on Wednesday, but he should pair nicely with Andrew Bogut in the Bucks frontcourt.
Andrew Bogut (Forward-Center) 6/29/2006
NEWS: Bogut's contract was extended through the 2007-08 season on Thursday. The Bucks exercised the third-year option on Bogut, the No. 1 draft pick in 2005. "We drafted Andrew last season with the expectation that he would be a part of this franchise for a very long time and this is just another step in that process," Bucks general manager Larry Harris said in a statement.
NOTES: Bogut averaged 9.4 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 82 games during his rookie season.
Charlie Bell (Guard) 3/29/2006
NEWS: Bell recorded his first career triple-double in the Bucks' 132-110 win over Phoenix on Tuesday night. The point guard had career highs of 19 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds to lead Milwaukee.
NOTES: Bell, who played only seven games in his other NBA season in 2000-01, is enjoying success with the Bucks, averaging 7.7 points and 2.3 assists in 21 minutes per game. He has started the last three games, averaging 17.3 points, 10.3 assists and 7.3 rebounds in those contests.
Michael Redd (Guard-Forward) 3/27/2006
NEWS: Redd finished with 35 points, six assists, five rebounds and was 13-for-14 from the free-throw line in Milwaukee's 125-116 overtime win over Toronto on Sunday.
NOTES: Redd is averaging 25.0 points this season, and has scored 68 points and is 6-of-18 from 3-point range in his last two home games.
Charlie Bell (Guard) 3/27/2006
NEWS: Bell scored a career-high 18 points and had 11 assists in the Bucks' 125-116 overtime win over the Raptors on Sunday.
NOTES: Bell started his second straight game for the injured T.J. Ford, who has missed two games with a quadriceps injury. Bell has scored in double digits in a season-high five straight games. He is averaging 14.0 points in his last five games after averaging 6.7 points in his first 42 games.
Charlie Villanueva (Forward) 3/26/2006
NEWS: Rookie Villanueva scored a career-high 48 points on 20-for-32 shooting on Sunday. The former Connecticut star, who made six 3-pointers, also grabbed nine rebounds in Toronto's overtime loss to Milwaukee.
NOTES: Villanueva shined after teammate Chris Bosh left early in the game with a sprained left thumb.
Mo Williams (Point Guard) 3/25/2006
NEWS: Williams could return on Sunday for the Bucks against Toronto. Williams last played on March 17 against the Raptors. He has been out because of a sore left foot.
NOTES: Williams has averaged 13.4 and 4.1 assists in 47 games with the Bucks this season.
Brian Skinner (Forward-Center) 2/23/2006
NEWS: Skinner was acquired by the Portland Trail Blazers before the NBA trade deadline on Thursday in a four-team deal also involving Sacramento, Denver, and Seattle. The eight-year veteran will be joined by Voshon Lenard on the Trail Blazers as Vitaly Potapenko and Sergei Monia joined Sacramento. Ruben Patterson, Reggie Evans, and Charles Smith go to Denver and Seattle acquired Earl Watson, Bryon Russell, and Denver's 2008 second round draft pick.
NOTES: Skinner is averaging 2.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in 38 games for the Kings this season.

Ha Seung-Jin (Center) 2/21/2006
NEWS: Ha Seung-Jin is expected to continue starting at center for the Trail Blazers as Joel Przybilla (knee) and Theo Ratliff (foot) are out with injuries. The duo is expected to miss at least a week of action and Seung-Jin has made his first two career starts in their absence.
NOTES: Ha Seung-Jin has scored 1.9 points with 2.2 rebounds in 17 games for the Trail Blazers this season.
Michael Redd (Guard-Forward) 2/5/2006
NEWS: Redd scored 23 points in his return to the lineup in the Bucks' 88-78 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. The Milwaukee swingman's effort came three days after he missed a game against the Houston Rockets because of back spasms.
NOTES: Redd's return is a welcome sign for the Bucks, who entered with consecutive losses and a 2-4 mark in their last six games. In 44 games this season, Redd is averaging a career-high 25.2 points to go along with 4.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists.

NEWS: Redd missed Wednesday's game against the Houston Rockets because of back spasms. The Bucks' guard, who is ninth in the league with 25.3 points per contest, missed a game for only the second time this season. Milwaukee has listed him as day-to-day.

Mo Williams (Point Guard) 1/29/2006
NEWS: Williams is expected to be sidelined for two weeks with a sprained left ankle. The Bucks' guard sustained the injury during Friday's 108-87 win over Toronto when he came down awkwardly on a Raptors player in the fourth quarter.
NOTES: Williams comes off the bench for Milwaukee, but is the team's second leading scorer with 14.7 points per game. In 38 games this season, he also averages 4.2 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 29.8 minutes per contest.
