Ron Artest
Artest was suspended one game without pay for hitting Manu Ginobili of the San Antonio Spurs in the head with his forearm in the opener of the Western Conference first-round series Saturday. The Sacramento forward will miss Game 2 on Tuesday.

Analysis: The words "suspension" and "Artest" have gone hand-in-hand over the years, though this latest incident could be devastating to a Kings team coming off its worst playoff loss, a 122-88 defeat in which Artest went just 7-for-21 from the field for 16 points. Artest likely was retaliating after he was hit in the mouth by Ginobili's elbow on the game's opening possession. The cut inside his upper lip required three stitches.
