MONROE, La. (AP) - Louisiana-Lafayette rushed for 343 yards Saturday on the way to a 54-21 victory that crushed Louisiana-Monroe's bowl hopes and gave the Ragin' Cajuns a share of the Sun Belt Conference championship and their first winning season in a decade.

The Indians (5-6, 5-2 Sun Belt Conference) could have won the title outright and earned a spot in the New Orleans Bowl in Lafayette with a win. But Tyrell Fenroy rushed for 164 yards and three touchdowns for Louisiana-Lafayette (6-5, 5-2).

Louisiana-Monroe, Louisiana-Lafayette and Arkansas State ended the regular season as co-champions in the Sun Belt. Arkansas State, which defeated North Texas, earned the New Orleans Bowl bid by holding the tiebreaker edge with a win over the Ragin' Cajuns.
