KENT, Ohio (AP) -Eugene Jarvis ran for 155 yards and Najah Pruden caught a 68-yard touchdown pass to help Kent State beat Eastern Michigan 14-6 Friday night.

Pruden's pass from Julian Edelman seven minutes into the game was the only touchdown in the first half. Daniel Muir returned an interception five yards for a touchdown in the third quarter as the Golden Flashes (6-5, 5-2 Mid-American Conference) took a 14-0 lead.

The Eagles (1-10, 1-6) got on the board in the fourth quarter with two field goals by Andrew Wellock.

The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Kent and makes it bowl eligible.

Edelman was 9-of-18 passing for 188 yards and one interception.

Eastern Michigan's Andy Schmitt finished 10-of-21 for 104 yards and threw two interceptions. He led the Eagles in rushing with 40 yards. Tyler Jones went 5-for-13 passing and had two interceptions.
