JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) -Corey Leonard set a school record with five touchdown passes to lead Arkansas State to a 52-21 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday.

Leonard was 17-of-23 for 275 yards in a little more than three quarters of work. He also ran for a score and rushed for 84 yards.

Arkansas State (3-3, 1-1 Sun Belt Conference) set a school record with 681 yards offense. Running back Reggie Arnold rushed for 225 yards.

Leonard threw touchdown passes of 84 and 4 yards to David Johnson, 6 yards to Levin Dejohnette, 29 yards to Vernon Catlin and 10 yards to Cedric Wilkerson. He also ran for a 4-yard touchdown.

Arnold capped the Indians' scoring with a 16-yard run in the fourth quarter.

Arkansas State led 31-21 at the half.

Daylon McCoy recovered a fumble and returned it 40 yards in a first-half score for the Ragin' Cajuns (1-6, 1-2). Michael Desormeaux also added a score on a 64-yard touchdown pass to Jason Chery.
