YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) -Tyler Sheehan scored on a quarterback sneak with 3:54 left and Bowling Green defeated Eastern Michigan 39-32 on Friday night.

Sheehan finished with 65 yards rushing and threw for 213 yards and a touchdown for the Falcons (6-4, 4-2 Mid-American Conference).

The Eagles (3-8, 2-4) took a 32-31 lead in the fourth when Andy Schmitt faked a pass, tucked the ball and ran eight yards for a touchdown. But Sheehan scored the clinching touchdown less than three minutes later.

Schmitt threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Jones, giving Eastern Michigan a 20-14 halftime lead.

But Bowling Green scored the first two touchdowns of the second half. Offensive lineman Shane Steffy recovered a fumble in the end zone and Anthony Turner scored on a 7-yard run, giving Bowling Green a 28-20 lead.

The Eagles' Pierre Walker rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown, and Schmitt finished with 134 yards and two TDs on 12-for-18 passing.

After gaining just 62 rushing yards in the first half, the Falcons finished with 201. Sheehan, Chris Bullock, Anthony Turner and Dan Macon each rushed for at least 40 yards.
