MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) - Michael Desormeaux rushed for 175 yards and threw two touchdowns to lead Louisiana-Lafayette to a 34-24 victory over Middle Tennessee on Saturday in Sun Belt Conference play.

Desormeaux broke free for a 86-yard run to the 2 that allowed the Ragin' Cajuns (2-8, 2-3) to tie the game after Tyrell Fenroy's 2-yard touchdown with 7:39 left in the second quarter.

Middle Tennessee (5-6, 4-2) had taken a 14-0 lead behind two touchdown passes from Joe Craddock. Craddock threw an 11-yard strike to Jonathan Grigsby with 8:18 left in the first quarter and a 32-yard scoring strike to Taron Henry with 13:59 left in the first half.

Louisiana-Lafayette rolled up 528 yards of total offense, including 376 on the ground. Fenroy rushed for 100 yards on 24 carries while Desormeaux gained 175 on 19 carries.

The Blue Raiders took a 21-14 lead into the half after DeMarco McNair scored on a 1-yard run with 1:35 left.

Desormeaux threw a pair of touchdowns in the second half to rally the Ragin' Cajuns. He connected with Kevin Belton on a 4-yard touchdown on ULL's opening drive of the second half.

Middle Tennessee answered with a David DeFatta 20-yard field goal with 6:40 left in the third quarter to take a 24-21 lead.

The Ragin' Cajuns took the lead for good as Desormeaux connected with Deon Wallace for a 52-yard scoring play with 10:57 left in the game, capping an 8-play, 97-yard scoring drive.

Jason Chery's 31-yard touchdown run with 8:27 left secured the victory for Louisiana-Lafayette.
