Shockey said Wednesday he was still suffering from the effects of his first concussion sustained in Monday's New York Giants practice.The three-time Pro Bowl tight end said he'd been back and forth to the hospital several times in the 36 hours since sustaining the stage 1 concussion. He said he never lost consciousness but he's had headaches, was sensitive to light and nauseous when laying on his bed to sleep. |

The 28-year-old linebacker was a fourth-round draft pick by the Giants in 2000 and spent his first four seasons with New York. The Pro Bowl special teams player is the highest-paid special teams player in the league, said Tyree's agent, Mark Clouser, and is on a par with money paid to No. 3 receivers in the league.
