Thomas Jones
Jones will start Friday against the Arizona Cardinals after missing the first two preseason games with a pulled hamstring, the Chicago Bears announced Wednesday. Jones, who rushed for a career-high 1,335 yards last season, was dropped from the top of the depth chart after missing voluntary offseason workouts. He was expected to compete with Cedric Benson for the starting job at running back, but injuries to both players put that on hold.

Analysis: Jones got hurt on July 27 and didn't practice in pads until Monday.
