The Chargers' center has started all 27 career games he's played for San Diego. "It's a huge relief," Hardwick said. "It's nice to know that I'm going to be here for a while and I'm looking forward to this team continuing to move in the right direction." (Updated 6/17/2006) Analysis: The Chargers were 12-4 and won the AFC West Hardwick's rookie season. The Chargers have rushed for 2,000 yards each of the last two seasons with the 2004 third round NFL draft pick calling blocking schemes for the offensive line.
