| Gocong, a third-round draft pick, signed a four-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday. The 6-foot-2, 264-pound defensive end/linebacker had 212 tackles, 42 sacks and one interception during his college career at Cal Poly. He won the Buck Buchanan Award as the top defensive player in Division 1-AA last season. Gocong set a 1-AA season record with 23 1/2 sacks and forced four fumbles. |
