Josh Lay Lay, a sixth-round pick from Pittsburgh, agreed to terms on a three-year contract with the Saints on Monday. (Updated 7/17/2006) Analysis: Lay played in 46 games for Pittsburgh during a four-year college career, starting all 11 games for the Panthers in 2005. He finished last season with 29 tackles and three interceptions and was named by the team as its most valuable defensive player. He also was named to the All-Big East Conference first team.
