DETROIT (AP) -The Colorado Avalanche were without center Peter Forsberg, defenseman Scott Hannan and winger Wojtek Wolski for Game 2 against the Detroit Red Wings.

Forsberg skated before Saturday's game, but was scratched from the lineup because of a groin injury that sidelined him in Detroit's series-opening win. Hannan did not play because of a lower-body ailment. Wolski is not expected to return in the second-round series because of an upper-body injury that knocked him out of Game 1.

Goaltender Jose Theodore was back on the ice for Colorado after being pulled and sent to the hotel during the series opener because he was sick.
