Shean Donovan
The Boston Bruins agreed to a two-year contract with Donovan on Sunday. "Shean is a good character guy," Bruins interim general manager Jeff Gorton said. "We feel he fits in well with what we are accomplishing with this team."

Analysis: Donovan played the last two-plus NHL seasons with the Flames, and last season had nine goals and 11 assists in 80 games. He had career bests of 18 goals and 24 assists in 2003-04 when the Flames reached the Stanley Cup finals. The 31-year-old right wing has 94 goals and 103 assists in an 11-year career that also includes time with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Atlanta Thrashers, Colorado Avalanche and San Jose Sharks, who selected him in the second round of the 1993 draft.
