Manny Legace
Legace signed a one-year contract with the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday. Details of the deal were not disclosed.

Analysis: Legace is expected to compete for the Blues' starting goaltender position with Curtis Sanford for the upcoming 2006-07 season. The 33-year-old seven-year veteran went 37-8-3 with a 2.19 GAA, a .915 save percentage and seven shutouts in 51 games -- 49 starts -- for the Detroit Red Wings last season.
