John Madden
Madden tied an NHL playoff record with two man-down goals as part of his first postseason hat trick in New Jersey's 4-1 victory over the New York Rangers in Game 2 of the first round of the playoffs on Monday.

Analysis: The seven-year veteran only has two career three-goal games, and had not had a hat trick since Feb. 5, 2003. Madden has 16 goals and 17 assists in 82 career playoff games. He had gone 17 playoff games without a goal before Monday.
