Roberto Luongo
Less than a week after he was traded to Vancouver, Luongo worked out a $27 million, four-year deal with the Canucks on Thursday. The goalie, who was acquired from Florida in a five-player deal that sent Todd Bertuzzi to the Panthers, was 35-30-9 last season with a 2.97 goals-against average and .914 save percentage.

Analysis: The 27-year-old Luongo is generally considered among the elite NHL goaltenders, and has a 2.72 goals-against average in 341 career games. The move to Vancouver could help him reach the playoffs for the first time.
