Scott Gomez
The Devils re-signed Gomez to a $5 million, one-year contract on Thursday, two days after he was awarded $5 million by an arbitrator. The team has not yet announced the signing, but details of the contract were confirmed to The Associated Press by a person familiar with the negotiations. The Devils' forward made $2.2 million last season while posting career highs in goals (33) and points (84).
