Luc Robitaille
The Los Angeles Kings announced late Monday that they will retire Robitaille's No. 20 jersey in a ceremony in January 2007 at Staples Center. Robitaille will join Rogie Vachon, Marcel Dionne, Dave Taylor and Wayne Gretzky as Kings players to have their jerseys retired. The former Kings left wing is scheduled to be inducted into the team's Hall of Fame before the Kings game against the Phoenix Coyotes on Jan. 20, 2007.

Analysis: Robitaille, 40, is the highest scoring left wing in NHL history and the Kings' leader in goals scored. He announced his retirement at the end of last season with 726 career goals and 795 assists in 1,590 games.
