LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - UNLV senior forward Sherry McCracklin remained in the hospital Sunday after hitting her head and sustaining a concussion during a game against Wyoming the day before.
``They're just keeping her tonight for routine observation,'' UNLV sports information director Mark Wasik said Sunday afternoon. ``We expect her to be released tomorrow morning.''
McCracklin, of Hazel Crest, Ill., was knocked unconscious when her head hit the floor after she took a charge with 3:48 to go in Saturday's game.
McCracklin initially got up after the play and walked a few feet before she collapsed, unconscious. Within a few minutes she started having a seizure and was taken to Ivinson Memorial Hospital where she regained consciousness.
Wasik said it was too soon to say when McCracklin might return to action.
McCracklin scored 17 points in the game, which Wyoming won 53-50.
