MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -Barbara Farris scored a career-high 20 points and Shameka Christon added 19 to lead the New York Liberty to a 93-83 victory over the Minnesota Lynx and their first two-game winning streak of the season Saturday night.
Becky Hammon scored 16 points and Kelly Schumacher and Sherill Baker each had 13.
Seimone Augustus had 29 to lead the Lynx, who have lost four of their last five.
Leading 66-63 with just over seven minutes to play, the Liberty went on a 13-2 run to break the game open before Amber Jacobs hit three consecutive 3-pointers for the Lynx in the final 30 seconds.
New York led by as many as 15 in the opening quarter as Christon hit three 3-pointers and the Lynx struggled from the field. Minnesota made just two of its first 11 shots, allowing the Liberty to lead 27-13 at the end of the first.
The Lynx rallied for a 36-35 advantage at the break, going on a 19-2 run and holding New York to just eight points in the second quarter.
Minnesota reserve Adrian Williams had 13 - nine in the second quarter.
Minnesota forward Kristen Mann was helped from the court with a bloody nose in the final minute of the game after colliding with teammate Nicole Ohlde while both were chasing the rebound of a missed free throw by the Liberty's Loree Moore.
