NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -A Georgia cheerleader was released from the hospital Monday, a day after she hit her head hard on the court during the women's NCAA tournament.

Christine Conley sustained an injury consistent with a concussion and was discharged from Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Georgia team physician Fred Reifsteck said Monday. Conley, a senior, is expected to make a full recovery.

Reifsteck said that after Conley fell the team trainer got to her within seconds and found her awake and alert.

``She said she knew when I came out that it was me,'' Reifsteck said.

The first-round game between Georgia and Iowa was delayed several minutes in the second half while Conley lay at center court. The crowd watched in silence, but cheered when she moved her legs and again when she was wheeled off on a stretcher.

Iowa was leading 34-33 with 14:18 remaining when the delay came. The Bulldogs won 67-61, advancing to the second round against North Carolina on Tuesday.
