TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Nicole Jules was 8-for-8 from the field and scored 18 points to lead No. 17 Vanderbilt to an 86-49 victory over Clemson on Saturday in the third-place game of the WBCA/BTI Classic.

Jules, who played just 22 minutes, led five Commodores (1-1) in double figures, including Dee Davis, who had 14 points, six assists and five rebounds. Christina Wirth had 13 points, Liz Sherwood 12 points and Carla Thomas 10 for Vanderbilt, which lost 69-60 to No. 20 Arizona State, the tournament host, in the first round on Friday night.

Julie Talley scored all of her 14 points in the first half for the Tigers (0-2). Talley was 4-of-5 from 3-point range in the first half but the Commodores didn't allow her to attempt a 3 in the second half.

Talley's last 3-pointer gave Clemson a 20-14 lead with 10:25 left in the first half. But Vanderbilt then went on a 16-2 run and Clemson never recovered. The Commodores went on a 13-2 run early in the second half to take a 61-37 lead with 14:04 remaining.

The Tigers shot 34.7 percent (17-of-49) and committed 24 turnovers that led to 28 Vanderbilt points.

The Commodores shot 56.3 percent (27-of-48).
