CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U.S. Virgin Islands (AP) - Natasha Williams scored 20 points to lead No. 12 Minnesota to a 83-75 victory over Nevada in the Paradise Jam tournament Friday night.

Jamie Broback added 17 points and April Calhoun had seven assists for the Golden Gophers (3-0), who face Virginia on Saturday in the championship game of the four-team round-robin tournament.

Dellena Criner had 15 points and Meghan McGuire added 13 for Nevada, which plays Alabama on Saturday.

Traci Graham's 3-pointer with 55.4 seconds left brought Nevada within four, but two free throws by Kelly Roysland and two more by Broback put the game out of reach for the Wolf Pack.

The game was too close for Minnesota coach Pam Borton, who was disappointed with her team's defensive effort.

``We've got to come out here and play a lot harder than that tomorrow,'' Borton said.
