LOS ANGELES (AP) - Tasha Humphrey had 29 points and 11 rebounds and No. 11 Georgia bounced back from a 20-point loss and beat Loyola Marymount 89-58 Saturday in the consolation game of the Loyola Marymount/Ayres Hotel Thanksgiving Classic.
Sherill Baker added 17 points and nine steals for Georgia (3-2), which dropped an 84-64 decision to UCLA on Friday. Megan Darrah had 12 points and Alexis Kendrick added seven assists.
Reserve Rachael Ziemann led Loyola Marymount (1-3) with 10 points.
The Lady Bulldogs charged to a 14-3 lead in the first 5 minutes, with Humphrey scoring six points and pulling down five rebounds during the run.
Loyola Marymount closed within eight points twice, but Georgia went on a 13-0 run to build a 29-8 lead with 8:52 left in the first half.
Georgia led by at least 28 points for the entire second half.
