CANCUN, Mexico (AP) - No. 5 Baylor has the nation's longest winning streak at 26 straight victories - not that coach Kim Mulkey-Robertson is counting.

``That's what they tell us, but we're not even thinking about it,'' Mulkey-Robertson said after Sophia Young scored 22 points to lead the defending national champions to a 74-47 drubbing of Marshall on Sunday in the final game of the Caribbean Classic.

``We don't talk about it. I think we talked to the players one time about it and it was only to say that it would end one day,'' Mulkey-Robertson said. ``The only thing that we ask the players is that a better team beats them when that happens.''

Baylor was clearly the better team against overmatched Marshall.

Young was the game's leading scorer despite playing just 21 minutes and yielding to reserves early in the second half. She also grabbed seven rebounds.

Baylor (6-0) forced the Thundering Heard into a number of early turnovers and used a blistering transition game to convert them into quick points. Tricia Abbott came off the bench to score 10 points on a day when a number of Bears contributed.

Marshall struggled with some early misses, then was forced to foul to try and slow the pace. The Thundering Heard trailed 43-23 by halftime and never mounted a serious rally after that.

Reshundra Smiley was the leading scorer for Marshall (2-2) with 11 points.

Baylor topped California 75-58 on Saturday, but showed no signs of fatigue as its players took the court barely 24 hours later.

``I thought our players were fine,'' Mulkey-Robertson said. ``I thought the starting group played well to give us the lead and the younger players, largely freshman, kept things going well.''
