Milwaukee quickly pulled within a point on a pair of free throws by Turquoise McCain. But Quigley, who scored 20 points in the half, responded with a basket and 3-pointer to push the lead to 53-47. The Panthers never got that close again.
Smith scored with 5 seconds left in the first half to give DePaul its first lead of the game at 37-36.
