LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - LaToya Davis scored 24 points - including 21 in the second half - to lead No. 24 Texas Tech past Sacramento State 63-53 Thursday night, ending a three-game losing streak.

Davis also had nine rebounds for Tech (2-4), and Erin Grant added 14 points and seven assists.

Tech's three losses in 10 days to Rice, Mississippi and No. 12 Stanford dropped the team 10 spots in the poll and in danger of falling out of the Top 25 for the first time since 1992.

Cindy Alldrin of Sacramento State (1-3) led her team with 14 points, all but two coming in the second half.

The Lady Raiders led 30-26 at halftime and used a 10-3 run early in the second half to pull away.

The Hornets led for most of the first half, but the Lady Raiders ended the half on a 15-6 run to take a halftime lead.

The Lady Raiders were plagued by turnovers in the first half, committing 12 that led to 14 Sacramento State points.

Tech's Alesha Robertson, who went 0-for-9 in Tech's loss to Stanford on Sunday, began the game 0-for-8 until a layup with 15 seconds left broke the drought.
