SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Kim Smith had 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead No. 25 Utah to a 63-47 victory over Loyola Marymount on Saturday.
Shona Thorburn added 14 points, six rebounds and five assists for the Utes (4-1), who scored the first 11 points and never trailed. Jessica Perry had 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds.
Bianca Ziemann led the Lions (1-5) with 13 points and four rebounds. Amanda Patton added 11 points on 3-of-4 shooting from 3-point range.
