AUSTIN (AP) - Tiffany Jackson scored 19 points and Ashley Lindsey had 12 points and 13 rebounds in her first career start, leading No. 19 Texas to a 77-56 victory over Stephen F. Austin on Thursday night.
Lindsey, a 6-foot-4 freshman, also blocked six shots to help the Longhorns (4-3) end a two-game losing streak. Erika Arriaran added 14 points for Texas.
Britany Vinson scored 15 points, including three 3-pointers, to lead Stephen F. Austin (4-4). Kirby Killingswroth and LaToya Mills each added 11 points.
Stephen F. Austin shot 11 percent (4-for-36) in the first half and 23 percent overall.
