AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Tiffany Jackson scored 27 points and had 16 rebounds to lead No. 19 Texas to a 69-49 victory over North Texas on Sunday.
Jackson was 9-of-17 from the field and hit 9 of her 11 free throw attempts. She also had four blocked shots and five steals.
Nina Norman added 11 points for the Longhorns (5-3).
Texas scored 30 points off 27 North Texas turnovers and held the Mean Green without a field goal the final 6 minutes of the game.
Didi Wali and Sanetra Jackson each scored eight points to lead North Texas (7-2). Talicia Sanders had 10 rebounds.
Texas shot 40 percent from the field; North Texas shot 25 percent.
Texas led 32-25 at the half.
