BOSTON (AP) - Brooke Queenan scored 18 points and Kathrin Ress had 17 as No. 22 Boston College took a break Sunday from Atlantic Coast Conference with a 85-29 win over Longwood, the Eagles' most lopsided victory ever.

Aja Parham added 12 points and Ress had eight rebounds for the Eagles (13-6), coming off consecutive 14-point losses against No. 2 Duke and Miami. All 10 BC players in uniform saw plenty of action and scored.

The previous highest largest margin of victory for BC was 52 points against Niagara on Dec. 21.

Anna Steg had eight points to lead Longwood (6-13).

The Eagles, playing their final nonconference game before returning to ACC play Thursday at home against Virginia, broke in front 20-5 in the game's opening seven minutes and were never challenged. BC is 0-4 in the ACC.

Queenan scored eight points in the game-opening run.

The Eagles shot 60 percent (35-for-58) for the game. Longwood connected on just 17 percent (9-of-53) in a season-low scoring total.

BC, which continually had easy, open looks at the basket, pushed its advantage to 30-10 on Ress' layup with 7:46 left in the opening half. Parham's jumper with 5 seconds left in the half gave the Eagles a 45-15 halftime edge.

Longwood, a Farmville, Va., school in its third year of playing in Division I, shot just 24 percent (6-for-25) in the opening 20 minutes.

At the start of the second half, BC had several fast-break layups during an 18-2 run that made the game look like a scrimmage for the Eagles.
