Saint Joseph's 65, No. 17 Temple 64

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Hillary Klimowicz made a layup with 3.2 seconds remaining to lift Saint Joseph's to a 65-64 victory over No. 17 Temple on Friday night.
Kamesha Hairston converted a three-point play with 18 seconds left to give Temple a 64-63 lead. On the ensuing possession, Saint Joseph's Whitney Ffrench drove the lane and passed it to Klimowicz, who converted the game-winner.
Hairston's 3-point attempt at the buzzer hit the side of the backboard and the Saint Joseph's players celebrated their first win over Temple in seven tries.
Ffrench scored 16 of her career-high 18 points in the second half for the Hawks (13-6, 5-3 Atlantic 10).
Ayahna Cornish scored 12 and Maura McBryan had 10 for Saint Joseph's, which snapped a two-game losing streak.
Candice Dupree scored 20 points, Khadija Bowens added 17, Fatima Maddox scored 13 and Hairston finished with 10 for Temple (14-5, 5-2), which had its four-game winning streak snapped.
The Owls trailed by as many as 12 points in the second half, but rallied behind the clutch shooting of Hairston and Dupree.
Hairston hit a jumper to tie the game at 61, but Ffrench responded with two free throws for a 63-61 lead with 55.8 seconds left.
