RUSTON, La. (AP) - Ty Moore had 18 points and a career-high 21 rebounds to lead Louisiana Tech in a 75-34 rout of Nevada on Thursday night.
Aarica Ray-Boyd led the Lady Techsters (17-4, 9-1 Western Athletic Conference) with 20 points - the third straight game she's been the team's top scorer - and Tasha Williams added 13.
Nevada did not have a double-figure scorer, as Cherlanda Franklin and Kate Saltmarsh led the team with six points each.
It was the second time the two teams met in eight days - the Lady Techsters defeated the Wolf Pack 72-57 on Feb. 2 in Nevada.
Louisiana Tech had a 62-34 rebounding advantage, and played without freshman guard Eboni Mangum, who was diagnosed with a severe knee injury prior to the game. Despite a season-high 26 turnovers, Tech led all the way, building a 31-15 halftime advantage.
Moore had 13 points and 12 rebounds in the opening 20 minutes and led a defensive effort that held Nevada to only 18 percent shooting in the first half and 20 percent for the game.
