FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Kim Smith scored 18 points as No. 25 Utah beat Colorado State 80-56 Wednesday night.
Julie Larsen and Shona Thorburn added 17 points each for Utah (18-5).
Utah held Colorado State to six points during the first 9 1/2 minutes of the game to take a commanding 26-6 lead. Larsen scored 12 points with four 3-pointers during that stretch, while Smith scored 8 points.
Melissa Dennett and Vanessa Espinoza scored 11 points each for Colorado State (8-14).
