MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) - Shan Moore scored 13 points and No. 20 Louisiana Tech beat Idaho 55-40 Monday night for its 11th straight victory.
Aarica Ray-Boyd scored 12 points and Ty Moore had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Techsters (22-4, 14-1 Western Athletic Conference), who outrebounded the Vandals 49-30.
Moore and Ray-Boyd combined to hit just 10 of 29 field goals, but each scored six points during a game-closing 14-0 run that spanned nearly 9 minutes.
Leilani Mitchell, a 5-foot-5 point guard, had 16 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists for Idaho (8-18, 4-11). Emily Faurholt, the WAC's leading scorer, was held to a career-low five points on 2-for-10 shooting from the field.
Louisiana Tech scored the first six points of the game but Idaho battled back to take an 11-10 lead on a Karly Felton layup with 14:38 left in the first half. The Lady Techsters put together a 13-2 run late in the first half and led 35-25 at the break.
Idaho whittled away at the lead in the second half. Mitchell hit a 3-pointer and Jessica Summers made two foul shots to cut it to 41-40 with 8:56 left but the Lady Techsters scored the last 14 points of the game. Moore had two three-point plays and Ray-Boyd made two 3s during the surge.
Idaho has lost nine of its last 10 games.
