FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Ambrosia Anderson scored 22 points as No. 18 BYU held off Colorado State for a 69-67 win Thursday night to earn the top seed in the Mountain West Conference tournament.
Colorado State (8-18, 2-13) shot 58.6 percent from the field in the first half to take a 43-33 halftime lead.
BYU (23-3, 13-2) held the Rams to 27.3 percent shooting in the second half.
Dani Kubik scored 18 points for BYU, which has won three straight and four of five. The Cougars swept the Rams in the season series.
Sara Hunter led Colorado State with 27 points, while Vanessa Espinoza added 16 points and eight assists.
