HONOLULU (AP) -Lindsey Pluimer scored a career-high 27 points and had eight rebounds to lead No. 21 UCLA to an 87-64 win over Sacramento State on Saturday.

Noelle Quinn added 12 points and 11 assists and Chinyere Ibekwe had 17 points and nine rebounds for UCLA (3-3) in a consolation game at the Rainbow Wahine Classic. Amanda Livingston added 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Sophomore Atty Boyer led Sacramento State (1-5) with a career-best 23 points and eight rebounds.

Quinn, the Bruins' leading scorer this season coming into the tournament, had only one point Friday when she missed all 11 of her shots in 36 minutes in a first-round loss to Gonzaga.

Using a half-court trap, UCLA took a 10-point lead, 27-17. Boyer hit a shot at the buzzer to cut the gap at the half to 41-33.

UCLA quickly took a 21-point lead midway through the second half and held off the Hornets.

UCLA moved on to the fifth-place game. Sacramento State will play in the seventh-place game.
