HONOLULU (AP) -Ivory Latta scored 20 points and Erlana Larkins had 19 and No. 2 North Carolina tied a school record with 3-pointers in a 101-63 victory over Gonzaga on Saturday in the semifinals of the Rainbow Wahine Classic.

The Tar Heels (5-0) were 14-of-26 from 3-point range to tie the school mark of 14 set in 1991 against Navy. They will face Arkansas in the title game Sunday.

``We played great defense and that really set the tone,'' Latta said.

The Tar Heels dominated the Bulldogs (5-2) most of the game a day after Gonzaga upset No. 21 UCLA in the first round. Camille Little and Heather Claytor had 12 points for North Carolina, Jessica Breland had 13, and Alex Miller and LaToya Pringle each added 10.

Jami Bjorklund led Gonzaga with 21 points. Simone Santos had 10 and Michelle Elliott added 10.

North Carolina jumped out to a 13-3 lead. Latta had steals on consecutive plays for easy layups, forcing a frustrated Gonzaga team to call a timeout. By 11:38 of the first half, UNC had a 24-4 lead.

The Tar Heels built a 38-7 advantage with a little more than 8 minutes to go in the half before Bjorklund hit two jumpers for Gonzaga to help close the gap to 20.

But North Carolina hit eight of 11 shots from beyond the arc, had 10 steals and shot 65 percent from the field to take a 55-30 halftime lead.

UNC built a 32-point lead after the half, before Elliott and Bjorklund hit 3-pointers to lead Gonzaga on a 17-4 run. Latta then got knocked to the ground and fouled as she hit an off-balance 3-pointer to extend the lead back to 25. Gonzaga couldn't get much closer after that.

Gonzaga will face Hawaii for third place.
