SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) -Rebecca Rowsey scored 15 points, Georgia forced 21 turnovers and the No. 11 Lady Bulldogs routed Savannah State 75-54 on Friday night.

Tasha Humphrey and Cori Chambers each scored 14 points for the well-balanced Lady Bulldogs (8-1) and Megan Darrah added 11.

Ivy Smith led Savannah State (5-4) with 21 points.

It was only the third meeting between the schools. Georgia crushed the Lady Tigers 106-34 last season in Athens. The Lady Bulldogs, who dropped out of the Top 10 after a 70-62 upset at the hands of Middle Tennessee a week ago, will return home to face TCU on Sunday.

Chambers made three 3-pointers to help Georgia forge a 47-34 halftime lead. The margin might have been even greater if not for Smith's 15 first-half points.

With Smith scoring six points, Savannah State cut it to 56-45 with 12:10 remaining in the second half. But Georgia's relentless pressure held the Lady Tigers to just nine points the rest of the way, five of them by Shaunte Carter.

Georgia scored 29 points off turnovers. The Lady Bulldogs, in turn, turned the ball over just nine times. They also helped themselves by making 15 of 18 free throws while Savannah State was just 8-of-14 from the line.

The loss snapped a four-game home winning streak for Savannah State.
