BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) -Mia Johnson scored 17 points as No. 19 Michigan State beat Indiana 64-56 in overtime on Thursday night.

Rene Haynes scored 15 points and Victoria Lucas-Perry added 14 for the Spartans (12-2, 3-0 Big Ten).

Nikki Smith scored 16 points and Kim Roberson scored all of her 13 points in the second half for Indiana (12-4, 1-2).

Michigan State held Indiana to one field goal in overtime. The Spartans outrebounded Indiana 44-26 to win their fifth straight game.

Lucas-Perry made a 3-pointer from the right corner with 2:57 left in overtime to give the Spartans a 59-56 lead. Michigan State's Aisha Jefferson made one of two free throws with 40 seconds left to bump the Spartans' lead to 60-56.

Indiana turned the ball over on its next possession, and Johnson made two free throws with 23 seconds left to make it a 62-56 lead. Indiana turned the ball over again, and Johnson made two more free throws to put the game out of reach.

After a back-and-forth second half, Indiana's Whitney Thomas made two free throws with 26 seconds left to give the Hoosiers a 54-51 lead.

Haynes responded with a 3-pointer from the left corner with 11 seconds left to tie the game. Thomas went for the game-winner, but Allyssa DeHaan, a 6-foot-9 freshman center, altered it and forced the extra period.

DeHaan was one block short of a triple-double in Michigan State's 74-49 win on Dec. 28. She had eight points, six rebounds and four blocks in the rematch.
