OXFORD, Ohio (AP) -Ali Mann scored 18 points and No. 18 Bowling Green extended its record streak of Mid-American Conference wins to 30 with a 64-56 victory over Miami, Ohio on Tuesday night.
Amber Flynn added 14 points, Liz Honegger had 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Kate Achter scored 10 points for the Falcons (15-2, 5-0 Mid-American), who've won eight consecutive games since a 55-46 loss at No. 1 Duke on Dec. 19.
Bowling Green hasn't lost a conference game since falling 57-52 to Eastern Michigan on Feb. 19, 2005.
Amanda Jackson scored 21 points and Jenna Schone added 18 for Miami (9-9, 4-2).
The Falcons were up 56-41 with 3:56 left when the RedHawks staged a furious comeback and cut the lead to 60-56. Achter sank two free throws with 36 seconds left to give Bowling Green some breathing room.
Flynn scored four consecutive points to snap a 34-34 tie and give Bowling Green the lead for good with 14:28 left in the game.
Mann scored 12 of her points in the first half to help Bowling Green take a 30-27 halftime advantage.
The teams combined to miss their first 14 3-pointers before Schone made one for the RedHawks with 4:41 left in the first half. Bowling Green - which had been averaging 41 percent on 3-pointers - finished 3-for-15 from behind the arc, and Miami was 4-for-24.
Miami, which went into the game leading the MAC with an average of 75.7 points, was held to its second-fewest points of the season.
