BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) -Megan Thorburn scored 14 points, including four 3-pointers, to help No. 18 Bowling Green beat Akron 91-46 Wednesday night and remain undefeated in the Mid-American Conference.

Kate Achter added 12 points and Carin Horne 11 for the Falcons (23-2, 12-0). Amber Flynn came of the bench to also score 11. Bowling Green took a 13-0 lead to start the game and led by as many as 48 points.

Riana Miller led the Zips (9-15, 2-10), coming off the bench to score all 12 off her points in the first half. Six off her points came during an 8-0 Akron run.

Miller was the only player scoring in double digits for Akron, which never had the lead and had just one field goal in the first seven minutes of the second half.

Bowling Green went into the second half ahead 46-25 and finished the game with about 53 percent shooting (31-of-59) from the field. The Zips shot about 36 percent (19-of-53) from the field.

Bowling Green hit 21-of-23 free throws, while Akron hit 6-of-8.
