LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -EeTisha Riddle scored 14 of her 16 points in the second half to lead Missouri to a 65-53 win over 19th-ranked Nebraska on Saturday.
Nebraska (21-6, 9-4 Big 12) hit five consecutive shots to open the second half, breaking a 29-29 halftime tie and opening a 40-33 lead on Kelsey Griffin's jumper with 16:35 remaining.
The Huskers made just 3 of their 21 attempts the rest of the way as they lost back-to-back games for the first time this season.
Missouri (16-10, 4-9) used a 10-0 run to take a 49-44 lead on Edwards' free throws with 7:13 left. Nebraska closed the gap to 49-48 on Griffin's free throw with 4:40 left.
But the Tigers answered with a 12-2 spurt to seal the win. Carlynn Savant's 3-pointer with 1:51 left put Missouri up eight with 1:51 remaining, and Edwards' short jumper gave the Tigers a 60-50 lead with 1:01 left.
Missouri dominated the game on the boards, pulling down 17 offensive rebounds while outrebounding Nebraska 44-32.
Savant led Missouri with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Tiffany Brooks scored the first 11 points of the game for Missouri and did not score again.
Griffin had 16 points for Nebraska. Kiera Hardy finished with 12.
