KENT, Ohio (AP) -Reserve Amber Flynn scored 21 points to lead six Bowling Green players in double figures, and the No. 18 Falcons defeated Kent State 89-66 Tuesday night.

Bowling Green has won 18 straight games and stretched its school- and conference-record winning streak to 39 against Mid-American Conference teams.

Kate Achter scored 14 points and Carin Horne had 13 points and seven rebounds for Bowling Green (25-2, 14-0). Ali Mann and Lindsey Goldsberry added 12 apiece, and Jasmine McCall 10.

Kristin Peoples scored 23 points for the Flashes (13-12, 9-5), and accounted for most of Kent State's free-throw shooting, going 12-for-16 at the line, where the team was 17-for-25.

The Golden Flashes came within five points with 12:56 left in the game, but Flynn converted a three-point play with 9:29 remaining to cap a 14-2 run that put Bowling Green up 65-48. Liz Honegger hit two 3-pointers in the stretch. Kent State never came closer than 14 points after that.

The Falcons scored 40 points off 27 Kent State turnovers, while the Flashes got 10 points off 16 Bowling Green turnovers.

Bowling Green's reserves outscored Kent States, 43-20.
