BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) -Rachel Frederick hit four free throws in the final 2 1/2 minutes to lead Ohio to a 70-67 victory over No. 18 Bowling Green on Saturday, ending the nation's longest home winning streak at 29 games.
The loss also put an end to the Falcons' 18-game winning streak overall and string of 39 consecutive wins against Mid-American Conference teams.
Bowling Green (25-3, 14-1 MAC), which had already clinched the conference's regular-season title, led by 12 points early in the second half but the Bobcats (16-11, 9-6) pulled even at 61-61 on Quintana Ward's 3-pointer with 3:14 left.
After the Falcons missed a 3-pointer, Frederick hit two foul shots with 2:39 left and Ohio never trailed again.
Lauren Kohn, who scored 17 points, hit a layup and later added a free throw, and Frederick, who had 10 points, added two more foul shots as the Bobcats built the lead to five points with less than a minute remaining.
Liz Honegger's layup cut the lead to 68-67 with 21 seconds left before the teams traded possessions. Simone Redd added two clinching free throws with 2 seconds remaining.
Domenica Silva scored 18 points and Jennifer Bushby had 12 for Ohio.
Kate Achter had 17 points, Amber Flynn and Honegger each had 12, Carin Horne 11 and Ali Mann 10 for Bowling Green.
